FGEHA Directs Contractors to Accelerate Ongoing Housing Projects

Federal Government Housing Authority FGEHA issued directives under the instructions of Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasey to speed up the construction work on different real estate projects in Islamabad to facilitate employees on a prompt basis.

The directions were issued to all the relevant construction bodies, i.e., all registered and affiliated contractors.

The Federal Government Housing Authority (FHA) has directed all the affiliated and registered contractors to accelerate the pace of different ongoing housing projects to provide modern residential facilities to employees in the shortest possible time.

The minister issued instructions to expand projects under FGEHA, including Skyline Apartments, Kashmir Avenue Apartments, and G13 Chaklala heights. An official told the news resources that 3,945 units in skyline apartments and Chaklala heights comprise 3,432 units.

Furthermore, he said that the minister has emphasized ensuring timely completion of projects with no compromise on quality.

The official added that authorities are making efforts to facilitate the allottee of these projects. Moreover, new housing projects will be launched to meet the requirements of employees, and the advertisement has already been published in different newspapers.

While sharing details, he said that Lifestyle Residency EHFPRO G-13 would be completed by the end of the year 2022. However, it is dependent on the availability of funds. The project was expected to be completed by the end of 2022. Still, due to the pandemic situation and massive increase in construction materials prices, the target was not achieved.
