Rehabilitation Master Plan for Flood-Hit Areas is in Final Stages of Completion

Islamabad: Mr. Ishaq Dar, Federal and Revenue Minister, said that the government had completed a detailed Master Plan to restore and rehabilitate flood-hit areas in Pakistan.

The Minister of Finance shares the news in the National Assembly session. He also said the country’s Premier had formed a committee to complete the Master Plan of affected areas of USD 16.3 billion by July 15, 2023.

The Minister said the government had allocated a huge budget to construct flood-affected areas. He also said that after the flood, immediate actions were taken, and funds of around 80 billion were disbursed under BISP. Moreover, 100 billion rupees were spent with the aid of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in goods form.

Mr. Ishaq Dar has also stated that the flood victims have been supplied with time-to-time aid since the disaster, and a report has been prepared with the collaboration of entities including UNDP, ADB and WB. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
