RWP Authorities are Planning to Overhaul the Kutchery Chowk Project

Rawalpindi: The administration of Rawalpindi is planning to overhaul the Kutchery Chowk due to concerns about security in the area.

According to the details, the original plan included an underpass and overhead bridge. Still, the structures are now removed from the project. The FWO was awarded initially, but authorities did not approve it.

Mr. Liaqat Ali Chattha, Commissioner Rawalpindi, said the project would be constructed with modified details. Now the focus is shifted to improvising the traffic flow.

Therefore, the signal-free corridor will stretch from Motorway Chowk to Ammar Chowk. Kutchery Chowk will be expanded to reduce traffic jams.

The plan now requires 170 Marlas and additional land as additional lanes will be constructed along service roads and footpaths. It is stated that traffic police are tasked to create a plan to avoid disruption in traffic flow due to expansion. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
