NADRA and The Punjab Land Revenue Authority -PLRA are likely to share land-related data to prevent fraud and scams. NADRA will share data with PLRA to authenticate any land issues.
The decision is made to reduce fraud practices, errors, and flaws related to property sectors. It includes fraud and inaccuracy in land records, mutations, inheritance issues, and mortgages. To speed up the process of land verification, PLRA will be provided data from NARA before proceeding with any property transfer or changes.
Therefore, without NADRA validation, no property registration or transfer matter will be dealt with. It is pertinent to note that Capital Development Authority Islamabad and NADRA have also signed contracts to validate land transfers and deal with frauds.
