RAWALPINDI: RDA has taken strict action against five unauthorized housing schemes in Rawalpindi, per the orders issued by DG Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa.

The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has issued notices to the owners of unauthorized housing schemes in various Rawalpindi areas.

In response to these developments, the Director General (DG) Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa has cautioned citizens against investing in such unapproved projects and instructed the concerned authorities to take stringent action against such housing schemes and their marketing.

As part of this operation, notices have been issued to the owners of these housing societies:

1. Hoon Farm House at Mouza Adyala Road, Rawalpindi

2. Safanza New Era at Ralla Gujrain Chak Beli Khan Road

3. Royal Ghar (Apna Ghar) at Mouza Paryal Chak Beli Khan Road

4. Green Lake City at Dhoke Bhaia Rawat

5. New Iqra City at Mouza Dheri Jorian, Rawat Rawalpindi

A statement released by the RDA spokesperson announced that strict action would be taken against the violators of housing scheme regulations. This includes filing FIRs against those found to be in violation. Additionally, the RDA has contacted the Cyber Crime Wing of the FIA to take legal action against any illegal advertisements promoting these unauthorized schemes.

The Planning Wing of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has advised potential investors to verify the status of housing schemes through the RDA’s official website before making any investments.
