Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has allocated PKR 14.252 billion under the PSDP to complete 113 affordable housing projects.

The released funds under Public Sector Development Program (PSDP 2022-2023) are allocated to different projects in Pakistan. Of PKR 14,252 billion, Rs 3,191 million have been employed to execute housing sector projects during the current fiscal year’s seven months (July-January).

The budgetary allocation includes PKR 12,273 million for 107 in-progress projects. Around PKR 1,711.875 million are designated to six new schemes.

Moreover, the Government has also allocated funds for constructing and rehabilitating roads in different cities in Pakistan. The cities and the released amount of funds are as follows.

• PKR 486 million to construct steel roads in the various localities of District Bahawalpur.

• PKR 523 million for Hyderabad city.

• PKR 1 billion for SITE Industrial Estate, Karachi

• PKR 250 million for District Gujranwala.
