Pakistan Targets $20 Billion Trade Surge with Saudi Arabia

Islamabad: Pakistan is determined to increase its trade with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and reach the target of USD 20 billion, as the current trade volume falls short of expectations.

During the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum in Riyadh, the Commerce Minister revealed plans to introduce legislation to bolster bilateral investment between the two nations.

Commerce Minister Ejaz engaged in discussions with Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi, the Saudi Commerce Minister. They exchanged views on increasing investments across different sectors, including the digital economy, construction, and infrastructure. The Pakistani commerce minister also shared that Pakistan has ratified a Free Trade Agreement with Gulf countries.
